Overtures
You didn't call me when you were sad;
I didn't know about it till much later.
You blamed me for not being there;
I didn't know you were feeling bad.
You thought I didn't care you were down;
I felt you were cutting me out.
You thought I wasn't your friend anymore;
I think I misunderstood your frown.
I was lonely and really low,
and you felt the same thirst.
I talked to some people,
But you'd talked to them first.
You told the world I left you
I thought you were being strange.
You didn't talk to me for weeks;
But you knew I missed you too.
I finally said, 'Let's talk?'
And you did as you were bid.
You said, 'Fuck off forever,'
And that's exactly what we did.
I didn't know about it till much later.
You blamed me for not being there;
I didn't know you were feeling bad.
You thought I didn't care you were down;
I felt you were cutting me out.
You thought I wasn't your friend anymore;
I think I misunderstood your frown.
I was lonely and really low,
and you felt the same thirst.
I talked to some people,
But you'd talked to them first.
You told the world I left you
I thought you were being strange.
You didn't talk to me for weeks;
But you knew I missed you too.
I finally said, 'Let's talk?'
And you did as you were bid.
You said, 'Fuck off forever,'
And that's exactly what we did.

what is really ironic, is that both of you were probably going through the exact same thing n just didnt know how to voice it...:)
